VPAT assessments
Overview
One of the most common forms of evidence to show levels of accessibility for a digital product, app or website is the completion of a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template assessment. These templated reports are a standard for evidencing compliance against technical standards such as WCAG, EN301549, Section 508 and other accessibility regulations and requirements.
We offer comprehensive auditing services against WCAG 2.2 AA and supporting regulations, including the UK Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (PSBAR), The EU Web Accessibility Directive 2016, and ADA Section 508.
All of our audits include a mix of thorough manual testing using a range of assistive technologies and reasonable adjustments, a selection of automated testing and our expert screen reader review which is conducted by our in-house full time screen reader user.
Deliverables
A VPAT report detailing WCAG 2.2 AA failures and other requirements information across the audit scope.
A detailed report providing information on WCAG 2.2 AA failures across the audit scope, including suggested impact on user groups and possible remediations.
Follow up review session to discuss the findings of the report and remediations with system owners and developers
